Crop a LinkedIn banner
A LinkedIn banner is 4:1, 1584 x 396 pixels, a very wide strip. This page opens on that size.
SnapCut crops and sizes the photo only. It does not check your face, expression or background.
Your photo never leaves this device. To check, open your browser's developer tools, choose Network, and crop a photo: no request carries it.
LinkedIn gives the banner size as 1584 x 396 pixels in its Help Center, and SnapCut links to the page with the date it was checked. The shape is four times as wide as it is tall, even wider than most header images, so choose a photo with that thin band in mind.
Open a wide photo and drag it until the part you want sits inside the frame; the lines of the grid divide it in thirds to help you place the subject. Check how the banner looks on your own profile after you upload it.
The picker also holds the LinkedIn profile picture, 400 x 400 pixels. LinkedIn says it accepts profile pictures from 400 x 400 to 7680 x 4320 pixels and up to 8 MB. SnapCut has no sizes for company pages, because no official source for them was found.
Everything runs in your browser, so a photo of a colleague or a client stays on your device. The download is a JPEG or a PNG at exactly 1584 x 396 pixels.
